It won't, if NFP is poor, FED rates stay on hold or will be held and the banks will receive the market beta increase that the rest of the market receives.
If NFP is good, FED rates will go up and NIIs will be expected to resume their increase.
So it is a win-win for banks globally and the riskier the lend the better the risk return tradeoff and why the smart money like Woolford, Buffett and the top fundies are putting their money in Provident Financial, Wells Fargo, Toronto Dominion, RBS, Standard Chartered and the Australian regionals.
