bear in mind heads that this a highly leveraged cobalt play now. Back of the envelope says the nickel will pay the operating costs ( and maybe some profit as well)and the cobalt is all profit. On the first 3 million tonnes you might get 4 pounds cobalt per tonne recovered. At current price thats US$200 a tonne profit . thats how I worked out the cash flow
even if cobalt halves in price its still a great project, which is the beauty of it. there are other similar laterite nickel projects out there in WA but none have the cobalt grades to add that extra spice!
