Well I don't think substantiating my that claim makes me any more or less of a man, but ok.
Fat Bloater (post #14490164): "shorting FLT has delivered me a very tidy profit but it's no boast because is was so easy"
That post was made 19-Dec-14 following a fall of 40% from $55.72 to $33.47. Ie: After the fact.
Funnily enough though, Fat Bloaters first post on FLT was on 21-Jun-13 (Post #1191472) when the price was $39.89, and in that post he concurred with another poster that is was a great time to short FLT. FLT then proceeded to appreciate 40%. Unsuprisingly, not a peep was heard from FB over the next 1.5 years. (Note: you may be thinking he would still have made a good profit even if he did buy in at this point, but taking into account dividends this is only a marginally profitable trade).
It something I've seen occur time and time again with FB. He appears only after a share has fallen significantly to tell holders how dumb they were to invest and how the sharemarket is an efficient mechanism of transferring money from the dumb money (holders) to the smart money (fat bloater). Sad really.
