CBH Resources said today Japan's Toho Zinc has increased its offer for the group by 20 per cent to 30 cents a share from 25c.
In a statement, CBH Resources said its independent directors will meet shortly to consider the improved offer. It advised shareholders to take no action at this stage.
Last week, Toho said it wouldn't accept a fresh offer for CBH Resources from Nyrstar.
CBH Resources shares last traded at 19c.
