I believe you've posted in the wrong thread. This thread pertains to the Inflight WiFi collaboration between FRX and Scoot.

However, it is relevant as FRX did sign an agreement with Scoot that was similar to the current MAS one in early 2018. They offered free SIMs to all Scoot passengers (but passengers had to pay for postage to have the microchips mailed out.)

The deal had a significant impact on revenue in Singapore, and has seen consistent rankings in Singapore for AppAnnie. Singapore is FRX's #2 market for revenue which is amazing given the size of the population and how competitive the local mobile carriers are with their roaming prices.

The agreement with MAS will be many magnitudes larger than the Scoot deal. The SIMs are being distributed inflight now by air crew, which will see a greater level of uptake. MAS is a fully the fledged national carrier of Malaysia with 6 million seats annually... Even a 1% rate of uptake would add significant revenue growth.

The agreement is for 12 months as stated in the announcement.

FRX currently has 170k subscribers and that has generated $2m in receipts last quarter (and cash flow positive). Unlike other listed entities, FRX don't make pumped up projections. They state facts, and let their quarterlies do the talking.

Of course I'll be monitoring AppAnnie for growth in Singapore primarily, but they will be distributing SIMs to MAS passengers on codeshare airlines in the OneWorld alliance.

With some luck, FRX will gain some traction with these carriers too. They are on record as saying they'll expand their Inflight arrangements with other airlines soon.
