I absolutely would expect a sudden jump in App downloads. The Flexishare notification was pushed out via the App and via social media, and the value proposition should have been readily understood by most resulting in increased downloads.

Additionally, distributors would immediately begin informing new and existing customers to download the app so that may share data onto other devices and for family members.

Remember we are talking downloads of an App, not purchases of microchips/SIMs or data.

I find you cannibalisation comment strange. Are you talking about current receipts/revenue or possibly future receipts/revenue or even future ARPU?

App downloads are simply an indicator of new customer growth. They have been extremely reliable at predicting subscriber growth for almost 2 years now.

I noticed an appreciable spike in downloads yesterday (to key existing FRX customer countries), which to my mind is highly likely to have been caused the Flexishare announcement. Way to early to call a trend, but it makes sense to me, so we'll see.

I also don't see 26 ratings as being statistically significant. I will say that I see this as one of FRX's strongest weaknesses currently. I don't think they can do much about it, most of the comments are relating to malfunctioning microchips, postage costs, etc. These are part an parcel of the product until eSIM.

eSIM will be great, but is still a long way away. The handset refresh cycle is lengthening. I'd suggest eSIM capable devices occupy less than 1% market share currently.
