What do people think of their fleet composite of all SAAB 340 (mostly the 340 B)? Looks like it's a type that's stopped production back in 1998. Their 25 leased fleet SAAB340b were customised and commissioned in 2010. Are there not still-in-production small planes for regional routes that REX operates on? Anyone think it's a little worry that all their current fleet are a bit of an "extinct species" plane type?
I like REX because its current low trading multiple, monopoly status on most their routes, and maintainable dividend. However, air-line is no doubt a challenged sector to invest in.
