I totally agree this should put the rental market in the spotlight. Interesting also that REA is interested int he rent sharing space - rentals have not been a big target of REA - all the agents are signed up for the sales portal and get the rental listings as an add-on service.
Interesting also to see the growing revenue numbers from RNT - that equates to over $1m revenue annualised. That should be a headline I would have thought. Once their other products kick in the revenue number should go up exponentially I would think.
Should get some more interest from majors once the revenue model is proven, which I'm thinking should be this quarter.
