DF is responsible for poor outcomes from risky decisions. He is not responsible for sending people broke, that's on them. BAT has always been a risky proposition, and in the same way DF needs to take responsibility for his risky decisions, so do investors. If someone put enough into BAT that the share price drop has sent them broke then they made far poorer decisions than DF ever did.
