Fixed charges

With a 4kW solar array since 2012, I'm still in front. (S.E.QLD.) But I've noticed almost every Qtr., my bill includes new daily charges, to the point where my annaul fixed charges total $469 before any power is consumed. Last year was even worse, ($505), but they must have been forced to reduce their daily supply charge slightly, only to compensate themselves by dreaming up 4 or 5 new charges. +GST. Get your head around that lot if you can.
I've looked back 10 years to my '05/'06 bills to find that my total annual Service fee (as it was called then) was around $65. So by my reckoning that's about a 700% increase. OK there was very little residential solar generation or FiT back then, so add a minor charge for that, I reckon it's still 600% jack-up for an essential service with unavoidable charges. I havn't even mentioned the increase in the electricity charge, that's another rort. I'd like a nonBS explanation to justify this thievery. The cost of solar/battery storage will not have to come down much more for me to install a few extra kW + batteries & ditch the grid altogether.
