Before Australis purchased the facility at Turners Falls it had operated for 12yrs without any disease outbreak or fish losses. With this track record Australis was able to insure the entire stock and future stock/ ongoing losses at a very reasonable cost. It was noted in a past report.
Disease is a real risk, so is being hit by a bus. There are not too many stocks without some form of risk.
