A quick thought about the situation. I supported the Browns in this one, but I was uncertain that it would work. The lack of alternative is a weakness IMO. Other s249D I've seen would usually also provide an alternative (e.g. a director nomination). If the Browns had provided one with sufficient credentials, I'm pretty sure the motion would have gone through.
At least the first strike had landed. But I think this exercise would be pointless without someone actually stepping in. I note LNG's recent AGM where they received second strike but the motion to spill wasn't carried. The shareholders are basically saying, "We are not happy with the situation, FIX IT or ...whatever".
