ozblue, have you also considered the UK capital allowances and writedowns for plant and equipment - see HMRC website. i.e. costs can be offset against Corporation tax.
Basically, these 3rd parties would not stump up cash if they did not think it was a viable proposition. I'll let you investigate further if you wish but can't be bothered to waste any more of my time on it.
