"Just the two of us" haha I'm hearing that tune by Grover Washington in my head.
The long slide down from $2 was surely due to that sustained and drawn out reduction in holding by RBS Morgan...I guess the Indo fear thing probably tripped an internal policy flag and someone somewhere inside RBS made an executive decision to rationalise their holding to a smaller risk/exposure profile. Bad luck for holders and it must have been an ongoing trial of "when will it end?".
Well, it has ended now, and the bottom has been hit. But of course, sentiment doesn't recover overnight when a stock has been slammed down so hard for so long, and I'm guessing many traders are just not in the mood to hear the letters R.O.L.
The upside of course is for new investors with an attractive entry point into fully-funded exploration programs advanced to within spitting distances of proposed objectives. It's a fairly unique set of circumstances which have pushed the SP so low whilst the company has regardless forged ahead to where they are poised now.
Looking at the market action...it's been very quiet indeed...other than that fairly conspicuous bid for 170,000 shares sitting at 37c for the last couple of days. Is that yours pwaldren? Or is it soon to be "just the three of us"?
If the Aussies continue to let the SP sleep whilst the discovery and feasibility initiatives advance much further, then at some point the combination of proved-up economically viable projects stacked against the low SP will simply prompt the Salim group to swoop in and say "thanks very much we'll take it". That's cool with me because either way I win...
