Well, I have been reading all this with great attention, and two things are now apparent to me in the light of MO's interview~ which was disheartening to say the least:
1.falling in love with a company is dangerous, albeit arguably noble (each of us here, I would suppose, is seeking "ethical" investment)....so thanks MEGAFAUNA, you are a true believer. Your research and enthusiasm has been diligent, selfless, authoritative, and informative.I hope you have a win on CCE
2.love is blind~ closing one's ears to naysayers is unwise: your strong criticisms, JRDBULL, of management, shortly after the EMC purchase, drew from me a rebuke. It is patently clear now that you were correct. In time I came to realise that your deep knowledge of the players involved was far greater than mine
To all other posters who have shared your research and opinions, thank you.
.
Having said all this, my 70% (potential) loss has been solely the results of my own decisions. For now I will stay the course 'til the next company outlook comes to hand. Then I'll reassess.................
