If anyone has the time to look at what Eagleview is offering you will quickly see it is not quite the same self service model that Nearmap is operating and succeeding in.

The Eagleview website still encourages their customers to “Order Reports”.

You just get a sense that Eagleview is still living in the last century and despite having their foundations & roots in the US for so many years, Nearmap is now stepping all over Eagleview in their home country, so I’ll say let Eagleview go to whatever country they want in the world (UK, Europe, wherever...) because when Nearmap finally arrives the choice is clear, first movers advantage or not.
