simon-i share your outlook,furthermore how is it that a difference between billion and million is not protected by password or confirmation requirement before proceeding with the initiation of such a trade,no protection against human error,i just dont accept that,so much would have been lost by trading houses running hedges we now have what i think is an automated correction creating extreme volatility,it should be regarded as a crime of the highest order,at this rate we will all be bankrupted by computer driven programs,and any confidence people had in markets will be destroyed totally,the great depression saw money become worthless,today it is meaningless when a smart programmer can rob people of their life savings in shares in a few minutes.
