Yellowcake, your views are well documented here, but it is very easy to find other opinions on the matter (e.g. below). Do you seriously think this financial crash may affect the well being of generations to come? I mean, just how big a stash of canned foods and bottled water am I going to need to ride out this horrendous financial crisis? No, I think Jennifer Marohasy's view is just another puerile, flavour of the month bleat about this nasty idea to put up electricity prices.

GARNAUT RELEASES FRAMEWORK FOR LOW-EMISSIONS FUTURE

“There is a path to Australia being a low-emissions economy within around 40 years, consistently with continuing strong growth in material living standards,” said Professor Garnaut.
