Department of Finance & Deregulation Extends Contract with Commander for Electorate Office IT Services 30 July 2008 – Commander Communications Limited (ASX: CDR) today announced that Commander Systems Pty Ltd has been awarded a one year extension to its contract with the Australian Department of Finance and Deregulation for the Electorate Office IT Services Branch, with an option for an additional one year extension. The contract sees Commander provide IT services, support and hardware to approximately 250 electorate offices Australia-wide, including remote areas such as Thursday Island. Under the terms of the contract, Commander supports over 1000 desktop PCs, laptops, printers and servers on behalf of Electorate Office IT Services. Our team met these timeframes and achieved the required technology outcomes.” Commander Systems Pty Ltd has provided services to Electorate Office IT Services for the past five years.
