it would definitely have to be pem taking over cbh, although toho might have something to say about it.

atm i think toho is about 20% shareholder as they did not take up their rights to top up at the last spp.

they also hold a bucketload of convertible notes which could be converted to add to their voting power if necessary.

they also hold some serious caveats over the cbh business so pem would need to keep their interests in mond should an offer be presented.

This buying today is not necessarily an indication of corporate action. only 4 million shares traded today which is a lot compared to recent history, but a drop in the bucket of the 1 billion on offer.
