Hi everyone this is my first post and joined hot copper just to have my 2 cents worth (1.4c now haha) because it’s the only bit of justice I’ll ever get from these scammers.
CWE was my first share I ever bought coming from Perth I remember seeing the platform at sea placing the footing thinking I’ve got to get on this what life changer. What it really was was a lucky few pi$@ing away millions of dollars under a very elaborate smokescreen to have massive paypackets with no work or consequence. Yes R and D companies are allowed to fail it’s the nature of the gamble but not without disclosure or in this case lies told to keep the cash rolling in.
There will be no retribution at best we can hope that the board get a slap on the wrist and a ban from sitting in another cooshy role for 7 years or less. Maybe a monetary fine that would be about the same as my losses just check out the 15k fine handed out to the UNS head scammer (ceo) who’s brother in arms has taken us share holders and taxpayers for a mint.
How much is Ceto worth now? Probably about $1 million in research data that someone has so late in the game popped their head up with if we only knew the details of that hey?
What will share holders get? A 25 meter wide mooring that hasn’t moved off dry dock for many a season.
I had so much blind faith in this company and I truly hope I’m wrong and we see CCE produce a product but if I took a fresh look at this company now I would have to think it’s a 90% chance of seeing the hardware sent to auction with a $9 start price and data given away for a song.
