fwiw...the announcement from Blackrock details their buys/sells and the last date that I recall seeing on the announcement was in July. That actually annoyed me because I am pretty sure the regulations would require disclosure of a substantial shareholder notice well before now if their dates are correct. What is the point in having regulations if organisations like Blackrock can just ignore them with impunity!

Anyway, I therefore believe that the recent buying and price appreciation does not have anything to do with Blackrock's activities. Having said that, some investors may follow Blackrock's lead into a stock.

I have been building a stake in Redhill Iron (RHI) as a much better value entry into the exciting API Joint Venture. RHI is very tightly held like AQA...Board members hold around 20%, AQA another 20% and AMCI another 20%. Their JV agreement with API is on very favourable terms IMO and that stock has the potential to also rise steeply as progress is made (if not, be taken over). DYOR!
