Prior to the PRG "merger" proposal I was estimating the second half divided this year to be $0.06c. As we know, the proposed $0.25c cash component of the deal is to be reduced by any final dividend(s) declared by SKE.
I wonder whether SKE will make a special, fully franked final dividend, to bring the total payout to $0.25c? The extra franking credits would certainly sweeten the deal for many SKE holders.
