I have used bucket loads over many years on dogs, cats and horses and it works like a charm, as it does in bulls and birds according to colleagues.
Nsaids and opiates also work in these species but pentosan works better (in around 80% of cases), without any side effects.
Hoping and expecting we humans won't be any different.
