Naa, doesn't cut it. Giving a biscuit to a child rapist or murderer is hardly going to cause a life altering experience. If the church wants that type of person in their flock then thats more a blight on the church and a desperation for numbers. Why not wait until the punishment is over with before any "gifts" are given? Invite the released prisoners to undertake church based programmes of support and rehab? Giving a biscuit is just feel good for the giver. Are African refugees getting any biscuits? What about Muslim refugees?
