Yes I agree totally, the time to trawl through the wreckage is now, the reward for being right is greater than ever. While I won't be investing, I will be watching with interest what valuable/stressed assets the surviving players start to pick up.
For your interest one company that stands out to me in the mining services area is MND. Its great reputation is fully intact, it has the management to identify and take advantage of valuable/stressed assets and its is still in a position to be first mover when things improve.
I don't hold MND (probably never will), but that's just what I'm seeing for what its worth.
