Danhoff, market cap has nothing to do with whether they will they invest or not.

Market cap only comes into the equation if PNG wants to take it over 100%, which imo is highly unlikely.

KGD has the support of the locals.

KGD has Government support.

KGD has low share on issue, management hold a significant amount of skin in this.

Funding clues have already been revealed;

Arccon will offer a lump sum turnkey EPC contract for the development and delivery of Kula’s Woodlark Island Gold Project (‘WIGP’).

Arccon through its alliance partner, China Non Ferrous Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Company (‘NFC’), Arccon has access to lower capital cost process plant equipment and lower fabrication costs which will be considered during the current capital cost review of the WIGP.

NFC also has capacity to provide capital funding to projects where its services are employed.


Nothing will come to light until PNG say yes or no. Reimbursement would be more like $35mil. If the economic return supports the investment, then it would be possible for them to invest. Whether they have any spare cash, let alone $35mil is another story.

Imo the apppointment of Mr Sam Akoitai to the board, is a clear indicator that this is not "dead in the water".

Has this be an enjoyable ride? Hell no.

Could management done better? Yes Certainly.

Problem is we have a Geologist as MD and a Lawyer as Chairman. Showmanship is is certainly lacking.

But the gold is there and we await.
