morning,
agree with most said in the thread so far.
My guess (and it can only be a guess) is that Stage 2 - didn't depend on the results from Stage 1 and that Stage 1 is still in progress.
I assume that the company would not have to report the findings of Stage 1 if they found little or nothing - but, would have to report if they found good results - I have seen that before.
However, in this day and age with being in an area where it would be almost impossible for there not to be samples on the ground showing some numbers ---------------------- AND in the present time where we can point an XRF gun around and get an instant idea of some hotter areas - that you would have to be blind, deaf and drunk to come home with no samples showing some numbers.
And, lets face facts here - if you put out an announcement with numbers - no matter how you got the things - the Aussie mining market will send a little baby sub 10m MC company on a shareprice run - which means you can grab some cash from a quick placement - especially with a solid explorer name on your board.
So, I too was caught out by the timing of the raise - AND, that it took so long - for a little baby million bucks. Rather odd.
We shall see. There is certainly no real excitement in a Stage 2 result ------------ after all - what do any of us expect?
It's odds on - that an ann. ------------ IF they put one out - will come out to say - the recent Mag survey identified multiple targets which the company will move on to explore - we are very hopeful - it all looks very exciting - drone drone.
Whereas some grab samples in an area that has a history - although exciting punters - doesn't really mean much to other miners - at least anyone that has stepped outside an office and got dirt under their fingernails -
an excellent Mag result ------------ IF published - can tell a hell of a lot. - Meaning - if you are smart and you get great and wonderful results ----------- basically you put out some blurb for the punters - but, you keep the imagery very very quiet and you shut the hell up.
Example --- Tom Sanders - CEO of Breaker Resources -- had a greenfields gold discovery - which is developing beautifully -------------- got a Mag done ------------ and, well - that was it -- old Tom went as quiet as a dead mouse in a Church at midnight on a Friday night - not a bloody squeak ------------- after telling his loyal subjects that - - yeah, it was great, - that was about the end of the story.
All you saw of the imagery was a tiny snippet here and there months later - never saw the whole thing - may as well be locked up in the Kremlin ---------------- why? - because it was HOT HOT HOT.
The day he got the results - he shot out the bloody door like a kid who found a quid in the corner and headed to the lolly shop - got the drillers in to drill for shares and designed some holes around the mag - and lo and behold - just like magic - extends his already massive find by at least 30% -- with almost a couple of hundred reconnaissance holes with the vast majority slap bang on the money.
Now, with surrounding or similar ground having other companies in the dark and him being able to peg ground that others have no idea on - you can see why he is so secretive.
So - for me - if RTR Mag is hot property - I wouldn't be saying a lot - because there is a lot of ground in Australia.
Grab samples are different - they sit there looking at you - anyone with a white cane and a Labrador can pick them up.
Again - very interesting project - but, a very odd way to raise money when, IMO - really, it should have been laying in the corner ready to be picked up.
We shall see.
Have a great day all
