fas no longer holds any gwr

Just read in their annual report that FAS no longer holds any GWR. This is a good thing and a bad thing.

FAS will not be able to influence the GWR board like they previously did many years ago. But the down side is the new owners of GWR shares are more likely to dump them which will continue to depress the price. Hopefully they would have already sold them, but the volumes suggest they have not.

Given the state of FAS having them off the GWR books is probably an overall good thing.
