The writer may be "factually correct ",as it stands currently,however,I'm of the view Graphene Supercapacitors,which use Ion beam Technology have a superior energy density to both Graphene Supercapacitors which use Laser technology and Lithium-ion tech.

The limiting factor is rapidly becoming how quickly a battery can be charged in practice. You can't charge a big supercapacitor in 16 seconds for a residential or most commercial supplies, the current, or supply, just isn't available.
