well, as i understand it the plan is to close the underground workings by late december 07. by that point there will be very little payable dirt to mill. that is not to say that there is no gold resource, but it has become a "time" issue. there is not enough time to bring the resource online, and so keep the mill at capacity. hence the payable dirt problem. so it will go onto care and maintainance while exploration and resource developement continues... of coarse their big hope is that a white knight will hand them a big wad of money, and harmony can go home and regroup. it hasnt been a great time for them, and i think they are keen to bring closure to their australian adventure.. so, where are MUM in all of this?. i have heard BHP, and EQI are running the ruler over the hill50 assets as well so it all could get interesting...
