New Hope is a producer with big bank balance but I just feel it's current share price is dictated by punters. It's been re-rated by the herd. Be careful.
Not entirely sure what you exactly mean in your last sentence/question. All I can say is that Mick Davis went on the record only in August saying "will consider “bolt-on acquisitions,” while continuing to focus on organic growth"
Bolt-on acquisitions to me mean acquisitions far less than $5 or $6 billion.
New Hope to me is a major acquisition to Xstrata. I could be wrong and no doubt we will find out soon enough (next few months).
