It seems to me that the breakdown at Simberi has alarmed investors and as such many of the leemings have jumped over the cliff - probably only temporary. It may also be that investors have seen that processing the sulphide ores (the refractory ores) will cost a bit over $200m and are contemplating another capital raising to dilute the shares. What really goes against the grain with me is that since they are so close to the funds the capital raising will probably not be a rights issue (giving me also a chance to be involved). Unfortunately ALD appear to be always promising jam tomorrow and have shown little in the way of profits today.
