IMO people have different investment strategies,

Some people are more cautious (possibly from experience) and prefer lesser of a multiplier, once safety is proven.

Some like to take a punt earlier on.

Most have insufficient or no knowledge of the industry. (including me)

Both may end up with a similar gain or loss where their entire portfolio is concerned.

None is right or wrong, their money, gain or loss.
