    Ask the property manager to email you photos and descriptions of the damage in question. 
    Emphasize that you want them as you're seeking legal advice on the matter.
    Then contact tennancy dispute agency in your area.

    Have you actually got court order or threat of court order.

    A lot of times Agents and owners will threaten legal action to squeeze out more bond money out of scared tennants.
    Happens to a lot of people, especially with estate/building managers. 

    My property manager wanted to go after the tennants because garage floor had couple of oil spots and some superficial paint damage I fixed in 12 seconds. She wanted to send them a letter demanding $600 for damage and a week of rent (as she can't rent out the place until the damage is sorted).
    I said no, if I agreed she'd chase them. But I don't think she actually had a good case at all.
