    Facebook certainly is a "public" company and so is Telstra.

    However when Telstra takes a decision to block access to a media site based on a request from the New Zealand govt and Telco industry I think that doesn't fit with the notion of a "private" decision.

    The thin edge of the wedge is getting thicker and we are moving inexorably towards a censored world.

    And here was I thinking that only happened in authoritarian regimes.
