I think it is good that this forum is here. From what I have seen so far people do not understand fundamental analysis and are more interested in fluffy stories. That is not investing.
One person even shouted at me all kinds of things about PE being a % and Income is the same as Revenue. They must be gamblers.
I look for earnings or realistic earnings potential. This trumps everything. Flying selfie cams and Karaoke boxes are just plain silly. I also stay away from mining companies because they mostly won't earn anything. Sure you can make good money buying in to a hot story but they only stay hot for so long before everything changes and youz are left out in the cold. At least with cash coming in your know that it is a real business especially if it is growing earnings.
