I'm convinced the NML exploration team are onto a good thing at Ararat goldfield, and Irvine is possibly just the tip of a golden iceberg. Kirkland Lake Gold are still exploring the eastern side of the Stawell mine from quite a depth underground, and yet NML can do it's drilling easily from surface and to relatively shallow depths. Years to come people in the mining industry will say - Ohh it's so obvious the alluvial gold at Aararat had to come from somewhere (primary sources) and geez the basalt which is same as Stawell's was logical as the source.
