The geo's report in an IPO for an explorer is an excellent starting point for learning. One then goes from there! The report is supposed to be both impartial and objective, and also neither overplayed nor underplayed.
Geology is a science, but I have been told that in some instances say 8 geos might not agree on what the drilling and assays etc are telling each of them. Faulting, folding, multiple episodes of mineralising etc over a period of millions of years make the correct assessment just so much harder.
A good geo team with a an experienced driller and geophysicist in tow supported by a non-interfering management team is what is needed here I reckon. Is that the situation?
