Not enough support for the AAQ, hence the delayed deadline? Would have thought they have more than enough money now and the money they get from the SPP would be fairly minimal. AAQ is pretty tightly held, so I don't believe they would get a lot of funds from this avenue. Also, who would be stupid enough NOT to buy in the SPP - the SPP shares are currently at around a 25% discount.
