Another dropin China exports with another rise in total $/KG. Makes me wonder if Lynas’s improved La and Ce are taking those markets from China. Prices of Nd, PR, NDPr, Ce, and La, have all fallen the only explanation is La and Ce exports are way down. We do not know but what else makes sense?

In February 2019, China exported 2886.1 tons of rare earths , a decrease of 867 tons from January, a decrease of 23.1% from the previous month and a decrease of 35.2% from the same period last year.

In terms of export value, China’s export rare earth amount was 36.8 million US dollars in February 2019, an increase of 0.2 million US dollars from January, an increase of 0.55% from the previous month and a 4.9% decrease from the same period last year.

In terms of average export prices , the average price of China's rare earth exports in February 2019 was 1,2750.8 US dollars / ton , an increase of 2998.3 US dollars / ton from January, an increase of 30.7% from the previous month; an increase of 46.7%.
