Cars get all the headlines; but its trucks buses heavy equipment and stationary storage that’s really going to place the demand on battery metals. While some politicians argue about coal, the real world is pushing on & the smart money is not betting on coal. I read a nice story re New Zealand where 18 months ago an Electricity Coy could defer a major substation upgrade by installing a battery to assist load management. This measure saved huge dollars (sorry cannot find the reference). This is also being done in Oz.
