The EMA is required by the rules of this review to provide any further questions and comments to the Notified Body, (BSI) by 180 calendar days i.e. on or before Wednesday 24 September 2014.
So they have to get the outstanding issues to them on Wednesday at latest. Once the company responds to these issues the EMA would have 30 days to finalise the decision (taking the total time up to the maximum of 210 days). I noticed that the meeting dates progressively start earlier in the month e.g. October 20, November 17, December 15. My guess is that this allows for responses that come in very close to a meeting date can be dealt with at the next meeting without the clock exceeding the 30 day limit.
