Some years ago - many bookies here in WA had to listen to their transistor radios for live country races/eastern states races. One time, the race had already been run and the radio station did not advise the bookies that they were listening to a replay while they had their books open. A few astute punters made substantial bets knowing the winner. Those were the days when advanced technology and communication simply made money.
