Thank you for that. A very interesting read. It's interesting to note the range of approaches and solutions that have been worked on over time.

But I would disagree with your view that these products compete with Mente Autism.

The article, and the products described are augmentative and alternative communication products; the intent is to facilitate certain activities that are difficult for the person with autism.

In contrast, the intent of Mente Autism is to reduce the severity of the underlying condition. So while the study measured the capabilities of children with autism, and found that many of those capabilities were enhanced, the enhancement was the consequence of the treatment not the intent of it.

It is Mente Autism's status as a clinically demonstrated effective treatment for the underlying condition of autism that places it in a pretty much unique position in the world of neurology and autism.
