I’d recommend people read the 2nd article. It gives a good summary of the state of play for the zinc concentrates market and especially the benchmark discussion. Also an interesting point in the article about price participation.
As smelters are holding the cards now they can push for taking a greater proportion of price upside if the zinc prices move higher this year through price escalators.
