I have learnt the hard way when it comes to shells and consolidation/splits. A few come to mind
CVE killed me
VNX well they just fell off the ASX and my cash is now trapped in there private company.. ( apparently they will re-list on "an" exchange sometime in the future, hopefully its not the Somalia stock exchange)
Like you say its a learning curve.. Hopefully you didnt have to much tied up in the bugger.
I feel sorry for those folk over on ODN.
That stock will get an absolute lashing on open. Im predicting at least a 70-80 percent sell off.
Most stocks these days with poor management of the original company ( shell ) are near guaranteed to fall below there IPO ( capital raising price ) due to disgruntled ex share holders just wanting out.
