    A while ago there was a brief announcement regarding another party approaching EBR about a deal to acquire their oil assets. Maybe, just maybe, this could be stage two. Rechner, who vetoed the original proposal without disclosing either price or acquirer, is no longer with us. Maybe somebody has sweetened the pot a little. Guessing game: BPT? AWE? AZA/ARQ? Any thoughts?
