if the buyback is limited to less than 10% of the shares on issue, do they still need to get a ruling?

I thought that they could just announce it, but there is the notice period to absorb.

The holding of JP Morgan and SinTang would now be less than 10%, but the company would need to be sure that it was those shares and not others that they were snaring.

The snake in the grass might be IVA but they seem happy to hold now that there has been resolution about the amount of the payout.
