Surely SOL dont really want to do anything until another offer appears - My understanding of the situation is they have a contract with IVA. So by letting the offer go ahead there will be a time within which they can force IVA to sell the shares - Their offer is to everyone so as I understand it if no other offer appears they first get IVA to accept offer for the rest of their shares and then sit it out.
My feeling is that they may not even mind minority shareholders if they gain control - 50.1% and as I understand it they can roll the board. Don't even have to put all their own guys in - I have a lot of respect for SOL given the underlying assets and their success. I hold both shares just so that you know.
I think it is undervalued and hence wont be accepting a SOL offer but by how much I dont really know as I am not sure about where the world is headed at the moment and the sudden reaction of iron seems like the slowdown is starting.
